Thank you for considering booking a consultation with me. I look forward to speaking with you.

Here are a few things that will be useful to you in relation to working together.

Terms and Conditions of Working Together:

By booking a consultation with Nora Pettik you agree to the terms listed below.

Booking:

When booking your consultation please check you have chosen the right time zone. I am in the UK so I may be working at different times than you expect.

​

Cancellations:

Please give 24 hours notice of cancellation of your consultation. I often have a waiting list for last minute consults so please give me as much notice as possible so I can rebook the slot.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged.

The Consultation:

The Consultation will take place at the time indicated. If you arrive late at the meeting, we will still have to finish at the correct time so that I am ready for my next client. You will be charged the full consultation rate.

For video consultations I will send you a link to join the video meeting. If for any reason it does not work we will find another way to communicate. Please check your emails before your consultation is about to begin.

I might ask you for more information or photographs, we can discuss this as required during your consultation. This may be required to help determine the right remedy.
For clients under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must book the consultation and provide consent for treatment and the processing of health information. The parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring that the information provided is accurate and up to date.

 

Consultation Recordings:

Some consultations may be recorded with your permission for clinical note taking and record keeping purposes. Recordings, transcripts and summaries may be retained as part of your clinical record. Recording will only take place with your consent and you may decline recording at any time without affecting your care.

Contact Between Consultations:

This will be discussed at your consultation. I might ask for email updates in-between consultations if needed.

Pharmacy:

I will send you a prescription for your remedies after our consultation. I will also send you a contact of where to purchase them. You can purchase the remedies from other sources if you have them.

First Aid Prescribing:

We will discuss taking other remedies during your treatment. First aid consultations can also be booked in between consultations if you have an acute symptom you need help with.

Homeopathy alongside mainstream Healthcare:

Homeopathy works well alongside mainstream healthcare programs and medications. You will not be asked to come off medications during your treatment. You may be asked to go for additional health checks to see if your medications are still required.

Homeopathy is not instead of Accident and Emergency Care:

If you need emergency health care please contact your Doctor or Emergency Services.

Emergency Service:

I cannot provide an emergency service. If you need emergency care please contact the emergency services.

Confidentiality:

I take the privacy and confidentiality of your information seriously and handle personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation. 

Privacy and Data Protection:

Personal information is collected and processed for the purpose of providing homeopathic care, maintaining clinical records, communicating with clients, and meeting professional and legal obligations.

Information may be stored using secure third party service providers including booking systems, email providers and cloud storage services. Some providers may be located outside the United Kingdom.

I take reasonable steps to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

You have the right to request access to the personal information I hold about you and to request correction of inaccurate information. Requests can be made by contacting me directly.

Emails:

By booking a consultation, you agree that I may contact you regarding your appointments, treatment, prescriptions, follow up care, administrative matters and information relevant to the services I provide.

From time to time, I may also send information about homeopathy, educational resources, courses, events and services that may be of interest to existing clients. You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time using the unsubscribe link included in emails. Unsubscribing will not affect your consultations or treatment.

Health Notes:

Clinical records are retained for an appropriate period in accordance with professional record keeping requirements and applicable legal obligations. These will not be shared with anyone unless the law requires me to submit information for the protection of life. To assist with clinical administration, note processing and case analysis, anonymised or pseudonymised consultation information may occasionally be processed using secure AI based tools. Direct identifiers such as names, email addresses and contact details are removed before use wherever possible.

Confidential Discussions:

Everything discussed at each consultation is confidential and will not be discussed with anyone else unless I have your specific instruction to discuss your information with other health professionals.

Code of Conduct:

I abide by the homeopathic Code of Ethics

​

Technology:

The use of Internet, video calls, messenger, emails or telephone calls: I will take every reasonable precaution to protect the privacy of your information. However, complete security cannot be guaranteed when using internet based technologies. I use Zoom or Google Meet for Video calls. I use email for contact between consultations. I check emails twice a week.

Payment:

I will send an invoice through to you after your booking. You can choose whether to pay by card or by Bank Transfer. Please settle your invoice within 24 hours.

​

Vouchers:

Vouchers can be used to offset against the full price of a single consultation but cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
